The museum is open Saturdays throughout the year. We're also open Thursdays and Fridays, except in winter. Check our Events Calendar for special activities including events with Sunday hours for detailed dates. In addition, we also offer tours.

There is a group discount of $2 off of regular admission per person for groups of 12 or more. Guided tours rates on the tours page already include this discount.

The caboose train ride is $2 per person per ride. Train rides will be complimentary with birthday parties, hosted group tours, certain special events.

Planning your visit

The museum is located just south of downtown Duluth, Georgia on Buford Highway (U.S. Highway 23). Located just north of Pleasant Hill Rd., the museum is on Buford Hwy next to Parsons-Andrews Building Supply and across from Howard Bros. Hardware and an AutoZone store.

Other things to do in the Duluth/Atlanta area

After your visit to the Southeastern Railway Museum, you might want to visit some of these local attractions:
